 Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Overview:

NRC is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing for FT employment.  This position reports to the CEO and will be responsible for managing and directing all sales and marketing activities in coordination with the SVP of New Business Development.  Specific responsibilities include: development and oversight of the company’s sales strategies and programs; building and directing a top-flight sales team; developing and executing effective marketing strategies to build and enhance the company brand and corporate identity; and working in coordination with the Director of Product Development to recommend product or service enhancements and develop strategies to bring new products or services to market.

Qualified candidates must be ambitious and possesses proven skills in sales and marketing.  In addition, candidates must have a BA/BS in a related field and at least 10 years’ experience with sales management. Our ideal candidate will have experience in health care revenue recovery practices, systems, policies, programs, laws, rules and regulations.  A successful candidate will understand what motivates key decisions makers to purchase services and be able to tap into those needs in an effective way.  This position requires occasional travel and the ability to work at headquarters in Bruno, MN.  

Job Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Designs and executes annual profitable revenue growth plans through aggressive sales and marketing activities.
  • Works with and in coordination with the SVP of Business Development on developing annual sales and marketing strategies.
  • Designs and implements an organized systematic strategy for lead generation.
  • Establishes sales goals by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Implements regional and national sales programs by developing field sales action plans analyzing trends and results.
  • Manages, develops, coaches, controls and motivates the sales force and client relations staff to develop their skills to ensure high professional standards are achieved and monthly sales targets and KPI targets are met.
  • Achieves growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales operations.
  • Provides on-the-ground support for sales representatives as they generate leads and close new deals.
  • Presents sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to executive team and other management.  
  • Identifies emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Marketing

  • Manages all marketing for the company.
  • Manages corporate brand and identity.
  • Develops marketing strategies in line with company objectives.
  • Coordinates all marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Develops and manages marketing budget.
  • Creates and publishes all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Plans and implements promotional campaigns.
  • Prepares online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitors and reports on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Creates a wide range of different marketing materials.
  • Works closely with design agencies and assists with new product launches.
  • Maintains effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Analyzes potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

Other Duties

  • Participates as an active member on the management and supervisor teams. 
  • Directly responsible for supervising exempt employees.
  • Manages, supervises, directs, and operates consistent with the principle and characteristics of Servant Leadership.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience.
  • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of health care revenue recovery practices, systems, policies, programs, laws, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to work at headquarters in Bruno, MN at least three days a week.
  • Proven skills in sales and marketing.
  • Proven leadership skills as a senior executive leading a company or a major division of an organization.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor other executives and leaders.
  • Proven track record for developing successful teams.
  • Understanding of what motivates key decisions makers to purchase services and ability to tap into those needs in an effective way.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work and think independently and provide valuable candor and honesty when making key business decisions.

  • Coordinate and publicize marketing activities to promote products and services.
  • Prepare reports of marketing activities for manager.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of Industry experience
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or other related fields
  • Understanding of  health care systems, information technology and the competitive market
  • Project management skills including the development of technology-based products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution
  • Ability to conduct financial and competitive analysis across multiple segments of the health care industry
  • Interpersonal skills and temperament to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a matrixed and complicated environment

Medical Biller I

Duties:

  • Prepares and submits authorization requests
  • Preforms basic claim edits and resolves disputed issues
  • Prepares claim files for submission to appropriate intermediaries 
  • Monitors accounts for payments or denials
  • Communicates with insurances companies and government payers
  • Troubleshoots billing issues and recommends solutions

Medical Biller Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years experience (preferred) billing for one of the following: Medicaid, Medicare or Commercial Insurance
  • Knowledge of claim forms and correction principals 
  • Comfortable calling and communicating with Insurance Companies & Government Payers
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook (E-Mail)

Nemadji Research Corporation (NRC) is seeking a Business Development Executive for FT employment.  The Business Development Executive will work with our Sr. Vice President to expand our current customer base and sell our services to potential clients. This person will be primarily responsible for sales development of the Western Region which includes California, Oregon, Hawaii, Washington, Arizona, and Nevada.  Qualified candidates must have demonstrated success in meeting sales goals, possess strong networking and interpersonal skills, and is highly motivated.  Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work remotely and travel periodically.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Sr. Vice President on expanding current customer base.
  • Presents and sells company services to potential clients. 
  • Makes calls to industry contacts as well as cold calls to new contacts to develop and establish business relationships. 
  • Develops a sales plan for the Western Region.
  • Grows and develops the Western Region by maintaining existing business relationships and generating new leads.
  • Regularly reports territory sales plan progress to the Sr. Vice President.
  • Achieves targeted net revenue dollar amount for fiscal year 2016.
  • Works with existing strategic partners to grow the partnership and develop new business with their members and customers. 
  • Identifies potential strategic partnerships for Sr. Vice President to follow up on. 
  • Helps establish the company brand by attending and networking at industry trade shows and conferences. 
  • Travels regularly to meet with prospective clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of industry experience selling financial services or A/R management services to hospitals at the Director and C-suite levels
  • BA/BS in Business or other related field
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills
  • Effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a systematic and effective approach to sales outreach and follow up
  • Involvement with HFMA at the local or regional level
