For more than 30 years, we have been partnering with hospitals to offer a non-traditional approach to identifying third-party eligibility on patient accounts that was previously unknown or undiscovered. 

NRC starts its work after all other internal eligibility identification efforts have ended and as a result, is able to assist hospitals in obtaining payments from Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance. These services positively impact both the hospital's bottom line and the lives of their patients. 

Job Overview:


NRC is a rapidly expanding business and is looking for strong sales individuals. You will be responsible for a variety of sales activities including prospecting, closing and onboarding new business, client relations and identifying and communicating industry trends and client needs to our Account Services and Product Development departments. This role requires that you leverage your proven sales skills to build strong relationships with clients and drive the sales process from plan to close. You'll work collaboratively with your colleagues taht are tasked with strategic growth initiatives to achieve our company's growth and retention goals. 

Through your sales approach, you will identify and understand the client's business needs, focusing on opportunities to secure new revenue and growth. You will bring your creative energy to a team that values innovative thinking and use your skills to drive that business forward. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Marketing staff to develop a target list of qualified prospects in a designated sales territory
  • Generates and follows up on leads through direct sales efforts and pre-established strategic partnerships
  • Identifies potential partnerships to increase lead generation
  • Ensures leads arer qualified based on company guidelines
  • Effectively closes new business to achieve annual sales goal
  • Executes service agreements using standard company contracts or ensures proper approvals are obtained for non-standard agreements
  • Follows standard company pricing guidelines or ensures proper approvals are obtained for non-standard efficiency
  • Documents all prospect and client activity in company CRM to identify barriers and improve sales efficiency
  • Generates monthly status reports for manager
  • Oversees process to ensure a smooth implementation
  • Builds strong relationships with clients to achieve growth and retention goals
  • Monitors contract expiration dates and successfully gains extensions prior to maturity
  • Communicates service issues to the Manager of Account Services and monitors status until resolution
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and client needs and communicates potential opportunities to Director of Product Deveopment

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in business or related field
  • 5 years of business to business sales experience preferably in healthcare, revenue cycle management products or SaaS 
  • Proven sales skills, consistently meeting or exceeding goals
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-Level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to travel frequently to prospects, clients and industry trade shows
